Additional funding has been secured in the West of the County to further strengthen the Wheels 2 Work scheme.
Copeland Community Fund has provided funding for 15 new mopeds, and Allerdale Local Committee has also recognised the value of a scheme and provided more funding. Both schemes will run until March 2018 and are available to young people and adults between 16 and 60 years. This broader, all age service, will be promoted by Jobcentre Plus alongside the National Careers Service. A bid to secure additional Children in Need funding is also underway.
