Inspira’s Chair Mick Farley receives Golden Apple Award

 

mick_farley_inspiraInspira’s Board Chair Mick Farley was presented with a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Golden Apple Awards last Friday. The award recognised his commitment to improving education and skills training in Cumbria.

The annual Golden Apple Awards recognise outstanding achievements by groups and individuals in education and learning throughout Cumbria. Sponsored by Inspira and the University of Cumbria, and organised by CN Group, this year’s ceremony was attended by over 200 people, and nineteen awards were presented.

“Mick has been the Chair of Inspira for 7 years”, says Mark Bowman, CO of Inspira. “He brings a wealth of knowledge and guidance to our organisation which comes from his lifetime of service to education and he deserves to be recognised by such a prestigious award.”
