Inspira’s success working with young people and adults – providing high quality career management and personal development programmes for all ages – has been awarded with the prestigious ‘Futures and Employability’ award at this year’s Golden Apple Awards, organised by CN Media and held at the Carlisle race course on Friday 7th of October.

Sarah Harrington, Director at Inspria, on receiving the award said, “I am proud to pick up this award on behalf of Inspira, it is a testament to the hard work of everyone within our Company to make sure our young people are equipped with employability skills for the future.”

Inspira runs programmes such as the nationally renown NCS – a once-in-a-lifetime experience for 16 and 17 year olds; National Careers Service – career management help for Adults; The Cumbria Enterprise Adviser Network – matching employers and schools to provide a series of activities to help young people understand the world of work; and Launchpad – a service dedicated to helping young people at risk of, or not in education, employment or training reengage with learning.
