Nichola Jackson

Area Operations Manager

Nichola started her professional career in 1995 as a part time youth worker with Salford Youth Service. She gained her post graduate diploma from Manchester Metropolitan University and has been involved in work with young people ever since. In addition to her professional work, Nichola has significant experience as a volunteer working in both delivery and management within the Scout Association.

During her career Nichola has continued to grow professionally. In 2010, Nichola gained a Certificate in Management from University of Lancaster and has recently completed her Masters in Professional Practice.

Nichola moved to Cumbria in 1999 and has gained a wide variety of experience across the county. Nichola held positions with Carlisle Night-stop and Cumbria Scout Association before joining Connexions Cumbria Ltd gaining a position in the management team in 2010 as a Service Development and Contracts Manger. In October 2013 Nichola changed roles within the Inspira management team and took on the role of Area Manager (North). Nichola is responsible for managing delivery in the Carlisle and Eden districts. This includes the development of relationships with a range of organisations including schools, colleges, training providers, Cumbria County Council and the voluntary sector.
