The Role

Our role profile tells the full story, but as an Administration Support Apprentice, you will work as a key team member at our Head Office in Penrith. You will support the existing administration teams with the efficient application of all required services including answering telephones, greeting customers, maintaining electronic records, supporting Advisers in their preparation for delivering customer appointments and supporting group work delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with motivation to work in a busy office environment to gain a wide range of administrative skills along with a formal business administration qualification.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting a longer-term career with internal progression opportunities.

This post is fixed term for 18 months initially, with potential for permanent employment following the successful completion of the apprenticeship. The hours of work for this position are 37 hours per week, however requests for part time hours will also be considered.

 

About You  

You will have:

  • Minimum GCSE grade 4 or above in Maths or English (expected or achieved)
  • Knowledge and/or an interest in Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Good communication skills
  • An understanding of good customer service and telephony skills
  • A willingness to learn

Our role profile tells the full story, but as an Admin Support you will work as a key member of the team in our busy Head Office in Penrith, providing highly efficient and administrative support on a range of contracts and projects.

This post is permanent. The hours of work for this position are 37 per week, however requests for part time hours will also be considered.

 

About You  

You will have:

  • Minimum GCSE grade C or 4/5 in Maths, English and a Computing related subject, together with an NVQ Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Business Administration;
  • Knowledge and experience of working with Microsoft Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Good communication skills;
  • An understanding of good customer service;
  • A willingness to learn and the ability to handle multiple tasks;
  • An eye for detail when recording information in databases;
