Over 400 young people from schools in Carlisle, Eden and West Cumbria will be attending the HE Fair to be held at the Sands Centre in Carlisle tomorrow (1st July 2016).
85 exhibitors include universities and training providers, the Army, RAF, and FE Colleges, as well as the leading career management organisation Inspira will be available to talk to the young people from 10am until 1pm.
The HE Fair is brought to Carlisle by UCAS, who have also organised seminars at the University of Cumbria, Brampton Road campus. Open to parents, young people and mature students, each seminar will cover:
- Choosing a University and a Course
- Personal Statements
- Student Life
- Student Finance
The seminars take place from 9.30am to 2pm (with a break at 12.30), and anyone interested is invited to just turn-up, each seminar will last approximately 30 minutes.
