Sarah Resource Director for Inspira.

She is a highly experienced and versatile individual with over 17 years experience in people development.

On attaining her degree in Youth and Community Work, Sarah started her career working for a National Charity with substance users. Moving from there to work as a youth  and community worker with Cumbria County Council, Sarah progressed quickly to become an Area Manager for the Youth Service and was with Connexions Cumbria from its inception in 2001.

Sarah strongly believes in the importance of continuous professional development and has moved from an operational base to senior management applying both practical and academic skills. Sarah diversified her career path undertaking HRM post graduate qualifications and becoming the HR and Workforce Development Manager for Connexions Cumbria Ltd in 2004. Sarah was appointed as Director (Human Resources) in 2009.

Passionate about staff  development and mindful of the impact that workforce skills, attitudes and associated  company culture has on improving services, Sarah actively seeks creative solutions to complex problems and is highly regarded both within the HRM community and the broader personal development arena.

A chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, Sarah combines knowledge and experience gained through an operational delivery and management background with strategic HR knowledge to ensure the company employs the best people with the right skills, attitudes and belief in company direction to provide the best possible services for all customers.
