We are recruiting a large number of seasonal summer staff for our Summer NCS programme to lead, inspire and mentor a small group of 15-17 year olds through a life-changing experience! NCS is the leading youth programme in England.  It’s an action-packed, personal development programme enabling young people to challenge their limits, develop new skills and discover the satisfaction of doing good in their own communities.

These are temporary positions working in blocks of 2 consecutive weeks work between 27th June 2022 & 26th August 2022 (Mondays to Fridays only).

Assistant Team Leader

You will be working with small groups of 15-17 year olds as they embark on their NCS journey.  You will inspire them to take part in all the action packed outdoor activities and to encourage them to engage with their local community in order to implement and delivery their own social action project.

Working with groups of young people, both residentially and in the local community, you will be responsible for the pastoral care, behaviour management and support needs of your allocated group of young people.  You will facilitate and support activities whilst inspiring and assisting in the participants’ personal development through the residential and community focused elements of the NCS programme.

If you are a confident, enthusiastic, motivated self-starter who enjoys working with young people, this is an opportunity not to be missed. Relevant training will be provided.
