The NCS Summer programme is underway!

Over 70 Summer staff have been recruited to help Inspira deliver a successful programme.  The Summer staff come from a range of backgrounds, including Teaching Assistants, University students and Youth Workers. Over 30 returned from last year to work with us again.

To get the Summer staff up to speed with the programme, a training day was held at Newton Rigg on the 30th of May. The ethos, policies and procedures, and the essential health and safety and safeguarding matters were all covered.  There was plenty of enthusiasm which we hope has continued on programme.

Webinars were held for those who were unable to attend to ensure that everyone was well prepared for delivery.

The Graduation has been booked for Saturday 10th of October at Rheged.  We need lots of good quality pictures to use in our presentations, as well as for social media during the programme, so get clicking – but remember, just keep the best, a maximum of 10 pictures per team is sufficient. Media Ambassadors (NCS graduates) will also be on hand to supplement photography from staff on the programme.

We still have a couple of gaps for Social Action Assistants, particularly in the South. So if you are aware of anyone who might want to work for us this Summer, please let Elinor or Louisa know.
