New to the company

My name is Dave Cassidy and I joined Inspira on the 1st of June as a Skills Development Advisor working on the Jobtrain contract. I have undergone a week’s training in preparation and am very excited aDave Cassidybout the opportunity to work on the delivery of this contract; an innovative way to energise people and inspire them to find the resilience needed to look for realistic work. I will be delivering the course with Gemma Douglas and occasionally Laura Menham who have both made me extremely welcome. I came to Inspira having taught Employability Skills for the past 3 years and wanted to bring my experience and enthusiasm to the programme with its focus on high energy delivery.
I previously lived in the USA and worked at a school owned by Kenny Gamble who along with Leon Huff wrote the songs that became known as The Sound of Philadelphia, such as “Me and Mrs Jones”, “If You Don’t Know Me By Now”,  “Love Train” and “Don’t Leave Me This Way” to name but a few.

Anna newsletterMy name is Anna Johnson and I have joined Inspira as a Skills Development Advisor, initially working on the National Careers Service contract.  I will be offering careers advice and gudance as well as support with CV development, and delivering various workshops to support clients on their journey into learning or employment. I wanted to join Inspira because it is a recognised and well respected company within Cumbria and handles a number of various contracts. I feel it’s a good fit to utilise my skills and develop working across different contracts.
I am a huge Sunderland AFC fan and attend matches when I can.  I have a one year old son.  My partner and myself have recently opened a restaurant in Carlisle. I have a passion for cooking and like to experiment with different ingredients.
